RICE AND STEW

This happens to be my second favourite meal funny enough. It is called Sunday food by most people because although people prepare rice and stew on a normal day, it is most commonly prepared on Sundays.

The rice is boiled white and served with stew made from tomatoes and other ingredients. I did a research on how different people prepare stew and it turns out that there are different ways of making stew.

But 70% of Nigerians prepare is with tomato, onion, vegetable oil/palm oil. It's definitely one of the most popular foods in Nigeria.

Pounded yam is one of the most popular foods in Nigeria. What Nigerian man hates pounded yam? We don't joke with our pounded yam.

It is best served with delicious soups like ukazi soup, eguisi soup, ogbono soup, oha soup, afang soup, I can go on and on but I am pretty sure you get the picture I am trying to paint.

Although it is an already processed food but does it really matter for the sake of this list?

BOLI (ROASTED PLANTAIN)

Have tasted the boli from Port Harcourt? Boli and roasted peppered fish is a very delicious meal. It is well known in the southern Nigeria, Port Harcourt to be precise. Boli also goes well with groundnut.

GALA AND LACASERA

I have said a lot about our local dishes, it's time to visit this great snack. Although its not really food but the relationship between gala and lacasera has been going strong. It has passed the test of time..lol. These two are made for each other. I put this on the list because it is even more popular than some dishes here.

AFANG SOUP

Afang soup is a delicious meal prepared with ukazi leaves and waterleaf. It is a rich vegetable soup popular in south-south of Nigeria. Lion blindsided by crocodile in river escapes

Lions might be the kings of the jungle, but crocodiles rule the river. At least most of the time. That wasn’t the case in a video shared by Kruger Sightings the other day. It shows a young lion crossing a river and getting blindsided by a crocodile. A woman in the background can be heard saying, “Oh my God; oh my God,” just before the inevitable. But it has a happy ending: A happy ending for the lion, that is. The crocodile’s next meal would have to wait. The footage was captured by a tourist while standing on the H10 bridge near the Lower Sabie River in the Kruger National Park in South Africa. “All we can say is, lions should always look both [ways] before crossing the river,” Kruger Sightings said on Facebook

BOLA TINUBU POLITICAL SAGACITY

On this Jagaban issue, every 4 years people come on social media to yell and castigate the man over his political decisions. There are over 18m people in Lagos, over 1000 politicians yet they cannot unseat him. Is this his fault? Are you expecting him to raise his legs and say "hi guys come and screw me over". He left the AD, formed the AC then ACN, Afenifere, Obasanjo could not unseat him. He lost two deputy governors, Kofo Bucknor and Femi Pedro to the opposition party, Lost Obanikoro, a man he single handedly made a senator to PDP, he lost Jimi Agbaje a close ally also to the PDP. They tried to unseat him, they failed. Obasanjo and GEJ tried, they didn't succeed. Lagos state had the Minister for works, Ogunlewe, PDP BOT chairman - Bode George, Minister for Defence - Obanikoro, Olusegun Aganga - Trade and Investment but while these notable men go to bed at night, Jagaban stays awake scheming and planning his next move at Bourdillon, rallying the grassroot and then he c...

Pubic crabs: what you need to know

1 .  The name “crabs” refers to the crab-like appearance of public lice. The louse has a rounded body, six legs, some of which have claws which help it hang onto coarse pubic hair. 2. The most common symptom of crabs is itching in the pubic area. This itching is caused by an allergic reaction to the bites, and usually starts about five days after a person gets crabs. 3. Much like head lice, crabs cannot jump; they crawl from one host to another. 4. Pubic lice found on children’s eyelashes may be a sign of sexual exposure or abuse. 5. When you have pubic lice, it’s advisable to get tested for other STI’s. A check-up is usually recommended as a precaution.  6. The “ITCH” usually start at night because pubic lice tend to burrow when their host isn’t moving around too much. 7. Excessive scratching has been found to cause secondary bacterial infections. 8. The only other animal known to be affected by this wingless terror is th...

See Amaechi

Wike cannot mobilize any grassroot outside his Ikwerre ethnic nationality. GEJ and PDP know this; they will not give him the party ticket. How can Ikwerre rule for over 8 years then they want to continue? Wike can be likened to Goliath so big and so formidable but its a small stone that will end it all.
