"LIFE" This life is a lesson for those who understand it. To climb the ladder of this life and to get to the top is not an easy tax, when you get there,to retained that top position is not as easy as you climb to that top. It can take 2 to 3yrs for somebody to overcome his predicament, downfall of a man is not the end of his life. Life is up and down.no permanent place for human beings on this earth, that's why we see young boy of yesterday speed over the older ones. there was a time money was coming into my hand, they gave me the respect and the honour that I deserved, once u lack, they will rant, shout at you talk back at you look u down nearly ask u to come and clean their sheet even ask you to go to hell, to the extend of asking you to life their home. They will remind you what they did for you at the past,if at all you never ask them to flashback. If at all from nothing you still find means to make them happy. In did life is a teacher.

Lion blindsided by crocodile in river escapes

Lions might be the kings of the jungle, but crocodiles rule the river. At least most of the time. That wasn’t the case in a video shared by Kruger Sightings the other day. It shows a young lion crossing a river and getting blindsided by a crocodile. A woman in the background can be heard saying, “Oh my God; oh my God,” just before the inevitable. But it has a happy ending: A happy ending for the lion, that is. The crocodile’s next meal would have to wait. The footage was captured by a tourist while standing on the H10 bridge near the Lower Sabie River in the Kruger National Park in South Africa. “All we can say is, lions should always look both [ways] before crossing the river,” Kruger Sightings said on Facebook

Obasanjo tells youths, Fight for Nigeria’s survival.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has told youths to take up the responsibility and effect the needed change in Nigeria instead of blaming the previous generations for the nation’s decay. The former President said this at the 100th-year anniversary of Ijero Baptist Church in Lagos on Sunday. Obasanjo said the generation before him fought for Nigeria’s independence while his generation fought for Nigeria’s unity during the civil war. He said the subsequent generation also fought for democracy. Obasanjo, therefore, said it was time for the next generation to make its own contribution to national development instead of complaining. He said, “Recently, a son of my friend looked at everything around him and got angry and went to meet his dad who is my age mate. He told his father that our generation is a lost one. The father did not pay him any attention so he came to meet me. “He told me what he told his father and justified it by telling me that he went...

China Ice Festival

The event is recognized as the largest of its kind in the world. The Festival officially lasts for one month, but with winter temperatures in the city averaging a bone-chilling minus 17C, many of the sculptures remain in place for considerably longer than that. The sculptures are formed either from compacted snow, or from blocks of ice which are hauled out of the nearby Songhua River. Purified water is also used, - frozen into blocks of clear ice. Many of the sculptures are illuminated to add another dimension to the displays during the long hours of darkness at this time of the year. The Festival began in 1963 but it was only held sporadically, because of the upheaval during the Cultural Revolution. It became a regular event in 1985. In 2001 the Harbin Ice Festival was merged with the Heilongjiang International Ski Festival, to become the event we know today. In 2007, a sculpture celebrating the work of a revered Canadian doctor, Norman Bethune, was recognised ...
