Fights are an almost inevitable part of
many relationships. As much as one may
assume to know his/her spouse, people
are prone to changes. Thus, there is no
rule against trying something creative, in
terms of apologies; what’s important is
the sincerity of the intention.
There are three steps towards making the
best of an apology. The first step is the
expression of the apology; the second
step is to make a promise towards
ensuring that the negative action which
caused the fight becomes extremely
infrequent; the third step is to do
something to make it up to the significant
other.
Below are creative ways to apologise;
Favourite meal: It is no myth that the way
to a man’s heart is through his stomach.
It also works for women too. Prepare his/
her favourite meal. No more words are
usually needed to further express the
apology.
Top list: Make a list of 10 things you like
most about your spouse and tuck it where
he/she is sure to find it.
A good long hug: Judge the mood of your
spouse and just surprise him/her with a
warm hug. Works wonders.
Romantic getaway: A very rare way to
apologise. It doesn’t have to be
expensive. The important thing is to do
something romantic together, outside your
usual meeting places.
Apology note: Make it simple, short and
as creatively romantic as possible.
Yummy treat: Nearly everyone likes
something yummy. Try chocolate, baked
treats, candy or even sweets.
Message in a bottle: Write something
sweet, put in a bottle with petals and
accompany with a simple gift.
The list goes on and one can come up
with further ideas. Creativity also helps to
spice up the relationship. As Nishan
Panwar puts it, “Sometimes, couples have
to argue, not to prove who’s right or
wrong, but to be reminded that their love
is worth fighting for.”
Lions might be the kings of the jungle, but crocodiles rule the river. At least most of the time. That wasn’t the case in a video shared by Kruger Sightings the other day. It shows a young lion crossing a river and getting blindsided by a crocodile. A woman in the background can be heard saying, “Oh my God; oh my God,” just before the inevitable. But it has a happy ending: A happy ending for the lion, that is. The crocodile’s next meal would have to wait. The footage was captured by a tourist while standing on the H10 bridge near the Lower Sabie River in the Kruger National Park in South Africa. “All we can say is, lions should always look both [ways] before crossing the river,” Kruger Sightings said on Facebook
