recent interview
on TV, KSB
explained why
she is contesting on the APC platform.
“Good luck to my family members, because right
now we all bear our names. If I had wanted to be
a member of the party that my family belongs to, I
would have done that.
In the past 10 years, APC has been very
supportive towards my development financially,
and also, to my children’s development. Senator
Remi Tinubu stood by me and she didn’t even
stop helping me.
During my album launch, she sent First Lady of
Lagos State, Dame Abimbola Fashola to represent
her,” she stated.

APPEAL COURT UPTURNS LAGOS COURT DECISION ON NUMBER PLATES The Court of Appeal sitting in Lagos delivered judgement in favor of the FRSC in an Appeal filed by the FRSC against the judgement of the Federal High Court, Lagos in the case of Emmanuel Ofoegbu v FRSC on 26th March 2014.The Fed High Court had ruled that the FRSC had no powers to set deadlines for motorists to change over to the new number plates and drivers licence. In a Judgment delivered by Justice Joseph Ike with Justice Ndukwe Anyanwu and Justice Tukur as members, the Court of Appeal : 1. Group condemns slave auction of Nigerians in Libya

Neo Black Movement (NBM) has condemned human trafficking and slave auction of Nigerians and other Africans in Libya. In a press statement issued yesterday, the organization's president, Felix Kupa stressed the need for communities and families to take the initiative of encouraging their children and wards to pursue education, apprenticeship and trade instead of embarking on journeys that often end in death, rapes and other forms of evils. He urged the government to collaborate with community leaders, parents and other stakeholders to address the problem. He said "the organization has engaged some communities in Delta State (Warri, Ughelli and Efurum), partnering with the leaders to discourage the youths who embark on such deadly trips." Mendeecees Harris Hip Hop' Star Sentenced to 8 Years in Prison

Harris pleaded guilty in April to conspiracy to distribute and possess heroin and cocaine. Prosecutors said the 37-year-old New York City resident was involved in drug trafficking from 2005 until 2012, including from 2006 to 2008 when he was part of an operation that distributed drugs in the upstate city of Rochester, where he was prosecuted. Mendeecees Harris, 37, agreed to forfeit the $171,000 he made from the television show, along with a 2011 Audi R8 sports car worth $111,000. The sentence was the lowest possible term under a plea agreement that included a maximum prison sentence of just over 10 years.
